We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic ECE Teaching Assistants to join our team as relievers covering our Bay of Plenty centres and providing cover when staff are on leave.
We’re looking for Teaching Assistants who are:
- Flexible and able to work at short notice
- Passionate about creating inspiring learning spaces for tamariki to grow
- Willing to learn and is keen to build a career in early childhood education
- Able build strong and lasting relationships with tamariki, whānau and the wider community

To be successful you will:
- Enjoy assisting with planning and implementing a child-led, play based curriculum
- Thrive in a team environment where innovation, connection and equity are encouraged
- Be committed to Te Tiriti based practice, Te Reo and Tikanga Māori or a willingness to grow in this space
- Be willing to learn Te Whāriki and build strong teaching practice qualities for children’s learning.

Our Waiapu Kids centres are part of Anglican Care Waiapu (ACW) – the social services arm of Anglican Diocese of Waiapu. ACW provides faith-based services to children, young people families/whānau and older people throughout Bay of Plenty, Tairāwhiti, Hawke’s Bay, and Tararua. The successful applicant will foster an environment that reflects the values and purpose of ACW.
