Waiapu Kids Te Hapara Whānau Aroha is embracing a new chapter. With refreshed leadership, strengthened whānau partnerships, and a renewed focus on high‑quality, values‑led early learning, we’re looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Cook/ECE Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent, 37.5‑hour‑per‑week role.

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Is passionate about tamariki and providing nutritious kai for little minds and bodies
  • Is experienced in food planning and preparation
  • Forms strong, lasting relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Have experience in planning, preparing and cooking nutritious meals for Tamariki
  • Enjoy supporting Teachers in a child‑led, play‑based curriculum
  • Thrive in a team that values innovation, connection, and creating strong whānau relationships
  • Be committed to Te Tiriti‑based practice, Te Reo and Tikanga Māori, or be willing to grow in this space
